Haley Hernandez was born in Houston, TX and attended the University of Oklahoma. She has a degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish.
In college, Haley interned with CBS News in New York and upon graduation rushed back to the Big Apple to work for 60 Minutes. At 60 Minutes she worked on the 2008 presidential election coverage and received Emmy recognition for Saving Flight 1549, the story of Capt.
