Charleston, SC-Michael Phelps is used to being front and center in the news. America's Golden Boy captured the hearts and the imagination of kids world wide with his performance in the 2008 games.

But this weekend, Phelps made the wrong kind of news. While partying in a Columbia at a USC party back in November, Phelps was photographed smoking out of a pipe. The photographs surfaced this weekend, sparking debate about how these photographs could affect kids who looked up to Phelps over the summer.

News 2 spoke to a family therapist who told us this is the perfect chance to turn a negative into a positive. You can open dialog with your children not only about drug use, but making bad decisions.
