The Charleston Arson Task Force needs your help to identify a second person investigators believe may have information about suspicious fires on the peninsula.
Charleston Fire Department (CFD) spokesman Mark Ruppel insisted, the man in the sketch is not a suspect, but may have information crucial to the investigation.
"We need information", said Ruppel, "we need the public to call us with any suspicious activity, nothing is too little, this is your community".
This is the second sketch the task force has released in hopes of identifying a witness. in December, they circulated a sketch of a man who alerted the people living in a home that caught fire on Vanderhorst Street. So far, no one has come forward.
The task force is looking into more than 80 fires over the last 10 years that are considered "suspicious".
Anyone who can identify this person please notify the Charleston Police Department at 577-7434 or the Arson Hot Line at 1-800-922-7766.
