Charleston, SC - Congressman Tim Scott teamed with local partners Wednesday to hold a Veterans Job Fair at the North Charleston Convention Center from 11AM-3PM.
Scott was joined by the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, the City of North Charleston, the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, SC Work Trident, Trident Technical College, and numerous area partners and veterans service organizations to provide an opportunity for veterans to connect with local employers and assist our nation's defenders return to the workplace.
"I am honored to be joined by so many Lowcountry groups in working to help give our veterans a great opportunity to connect with local employers," Scott said. "With two brothers in the military, I fully understand the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families. I encourage any veteran looking for employment to come out and join us at the Convention Center on the 22nd," Scott said.
