The caregivers of the 5.4 million people living with Alzheimer's are working to separate fact from fiction about a new research study published in Science Express.  The report indicates amyloid plaque (Abeta) was removed from Alzheimer's infected mice in a few hours by an already existing, FDA approved drug, Bexarotene.

Dozens of people have contacted Dr Jacob Mintzer of the Medical University of South Carolina about buyng the drug off label? He says there needs to be more testing before it is used to on humans.
