February is Children's Dental Health month and in honor of the month, Children's Dental Clinic of Charleston will offer free dental screenings during "Healthy Smile, Happy Child Day".

The free screenings will be offered from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

"An estimated one in five children go without dental care each year," said Dr. Patricia Nicklas, Lead Dentist at Children's Dental Clinic of Charleston. "At Children's Dental Clinic, that is one too many. With tooth decay being the single most common childhood disease, five times more common than asthma, we need to ensure that all children have access to quality dental care. We want to invite children and parents to participate in our free dental screenings to combat dental health problems and help keep their smiles healthy and happy for years to come.

The clinic is located at 6035A Rivers Avenue in North Charleston.
