CHARLESTON, S.C. - Madagascar is coming to the South Carolina coast.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reports a new exhibit opening next year at the South Carolina Aquarium will give visitors a glimpse of the island off the African coast.

The display will include lemurs, hissing cockroaches, birds and fish from Madagascar.

The lemurs will come from the Duke Lemur Center in Durham, N.C.  The new $250,000 exhibit opens in March and replaces the Camp Carolina exhibit that has been at the aquarium for four years.
