According to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, a five-year-old fell from the second floor window of the Haven Oaks Apartments in Summerville.
Officials said the child was trying to close a window.
Officials told News 2 it appeared the child sustained a head injury from the fall and was bleeding from the nose and mouth.
The child was taken to the hospital.
