The thousands of jobs promised by the Boeing expansion in North Charleston are welcomed news for those looking for work or hoping for a better life for their families.
Even though hiring will not likely start until late 2010 or in 2011, now is the time to start thinking about learning the skills you need to land one of those jobs.
There will be about 1,000 manufacturing jobs at the North Charleston plant.
