A sweeping bill overhauling the U.S. medical system goes to President Barack Obama's desk on to be signed into law.
The House passed the measure late Sunday, delivering a historic victory to Obama, who had made it his number one domestic priority.
The bill passed in a 219 to 212 vote with all Republicans opposing it, along with 34 Democrats.
The debate got ugly at times during the days leading up to the vote.
