A Berkeley County woman is dead after an accident outside of St. Stephens.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says Stephen Jackson was traveling north Highway 52, and struck 19 year old Krissy Gallard, as she was crossing highway 52, near Northbranch Rd.
Gallard was pronounced dead at the scene, due to body trauma.
The death has been ruled an accident.
Troopers are investigating the accident.
