A man was rushed to the hospital after an accident in Goose Creek.

Just before one p.m. Thursday afternoon, a blue Dakota was struck by a silver Plymouth turning out of Old State Rd. onto Redbank Rd in Goose Creek.

Witnesses say they believe the silver car ran the red light before impact.

The man in the truck was hit on the driver’s side, and ejected from the vehicle.

His truck jumped the curb and ended up stopping in the parking lot of B&L Bingo.

Witnesses, including a nurse, ran over to the man, who was bleeding in the middle of the street, to help until paramedics arrived.

He was rushed to MUSC.

There's no word on his condition
