The Colleton County Sheriff's Office arrested Desi Antwuan Elliott of Walterboro early Tuesday morning. Investigators issued warrants for his arrest late Monday after a shooting at the Appollo Lounge on Rivers Street near Walterboro.
The two victims were identified as 35-year-old Shonda Donaldson and 26-year-old Cheumalt Omega Gathers. Gathers had a gunshot wound to his arm and was treated and later released from the hospital. Donaldson had a gunshot wound to her arm and side and was transferred to a Charleston area hospital where she is in stable condition.
Elliott is charged with two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Colleton County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a shooting suspect after two people were injured by gunfire inside a night club.

It happened around 2:00 a.m. at the Apollo Lounge on Rivers Street, just outside the city limits of Walterboro.

Deputies are looking for Desi Antwuan Elliott of Walterboro. He is considered armed and dangerous. He's charged with two counts of assault and battery with intent to kill and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
