Today marks the one year anniversary of the disappearance of Brittanee Drexel. She was last seen at a hotel in Myrtle Beach while on spring break, last April.
To mark the anniversary of her disappearance, Saturday family and friends held a vigil to remember her life. People also marched 20 blocks in Myrtle Beach to mark the occasion.
While there have been many searches for her over the last year, the case has picked up in recent weeks. Earlier this month, police announced they have several persons of interest in the case, and a possible location of interest of where her body may be located. Investigators do not believe that she is alive.
Police do not know if and when any arrests will be made.
