Lowcountry native Stephen Colbert, host of Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report," gave the commencement address at MUSC on Friday.
Here are the Fast Facts of the graduation:
Colbert is a graduate of Porter Gaud.
He received an honory doctorate in humane letters at the Friday commencement.
His father, James, was MUSC's first provost and vice president of academic affairs.
560 students graduated on Friday, doctors, pharmacists, nurses and dentists.
