Today, South Carolina Lt. Governor Andre Bauer talked with News 2 about the recent scandal involving Governor Mark Sanford. Bauer wouldn't tell News 2 whether or not be believed Sanford should step down. He tells us that is a decision only the Governor can make.
He DID say a state elected officials mentioned the idea of he (Bauer) agreeing to not run in 2010 if Governor Sanford DID resign. Bauer tells us he has considered the idea.
