A Colorado mother and daughter now have an eco-friendly car with its own tree branch sticking out of the windshield.
Diana Lopez Barnett and her daughter say they were driving their Toyota Prius in boulder Monday, when they heard a gust of wind and saw a flash of green.
When they looked up, a branch from a maple tree had impaled their windshield and dashboard.
It narrowly missed 18-year-old Tasha Barnett, who was sitting in the passenger seat.
"A police officer mentioned it hit the floorboard, and at that point I was just like, 'that was my foot,'" said Barnett.
"There's no other word for it, the car was impaled. My daughter got a scratch on her foot and I got a little scratch on my nose, nothing," said driver and mother Diana Lopez Barnett.
