A nuisance control team removed bricks from Charleston's historic Cigar Factory building on East Bay Street in order get rid of a huge bee hive.
To get to the hive, the team had to break apart a section of the bricks.
Project Superintendent Jeff Beaver told News 2 that nothing was ruined.
"Where they're tearing out we eventually had to take out and put new windows in anyway," said Beaver, "so they're not tearing down anything that wasn't part of the original plan."
The bees were relocated to Johns Island, where it's hoped they'll start a new hive.
