Waterspout forms off coast of IOP.
You on 2 reporter Freddie Minnix sent us these pictures of the waterspout that formed Tuesday morning.
Minnix says he and Steve Thomas took the pictures from the Grand Pavilion Pool at Wild Dunes.
Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Josh Marthers says the warmer temperatures of the ocean clashing with the cooler land temperatures could have assisted in the development of the thunderstorms Tuesday morning.
The waterspout never approached land, and the storms diminished shortly after forming around 7:30.
