LA police release new sketches of serial killer

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

Los Angeles police have released two new composite sketches of a man believed to have killed at least 11 people since 1985.

The sketches, released Thursday, use age-enhancement techniques to show how the man dubbed the "Grim Sleeper" might look like today. The sketches are based on the description given by a woman who survived a brutal assault in 1988.

Police hope the three images, which show how the suspected killer may have aged in 22 years, will prompt someone who knows him to contact police.

The killer struck at least 11 times between 1985 and 2007, targeting young black women and one man. He was dubbed the "Grim Sleeper" because he apparently took a 14-year hiatus in his crimes.
