Elderly woman, baby killed in house fire in Spartanburg County Wednesday

An elderly woman and baby girl are dead, after fire ripped through their Spartanburg County home Tuesday night.
It happened shortly before ten on Linville Drive. When firefighters arrived, the home was fully engulfed.
There were three people in the home at the time of the fire. The most seriously injured were the woman and baby. Both later died at the hospital. Firefighters pulled the victims out of the burning home; both were in a bedroom, sleeping when the fire broke out.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
