Another round of rain will affect the region Monday night and Tuesday with a risk for flash flooding.
Rain will redevelop across the region with the threat of heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for much of the South Carolina Lowcountry through Tuesday morning.
Recent rain events have left the soil saturated and it will not take much heavy rain in a short amount of time to cause a risk of flash flooding.
As much as 1-3" of rain is expected to fall across the region through Tuesday. Be alert for rapidly changing weather conditions and be prepared to take action to protect life and property if flooding is observed or warning are issued.
