78 year old woman puts up quite a fight as 3 men attempt to rob/kidnap her. Margaret Gooding was startled Monday night, when a brick was thrown through her window.
Gooding is a widow who lives alone. The robbers probably didn't expect her to have a gun. Not only did she have it, she used it.
She missed the suspects, but one suspect did hit her in the abdomen. The men then stuffed her into the trunk of her own car.
Almost 12 hours after she was put in her trunk, she was found in Walterboro. She is currently at MUSC. She may get out of the hospital as soon as Wednesday.
