» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

UPDATE 9:55 AM
The threat for Flash Flooding is now over. Standing water will continue in some areas for the next hour or two as a Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 11 AM.

Severe thunderstorms will be possible later today and tonight.

UPDATE 8:48 AM
Rain is tapering off across lower and central Charleston county with moderate to heavy rain still falling in upper portions of the county. Flooding will continue for a bit longer due to higher than normal tides and the excessive amount of rain that fell in a short period of time.

We will likely see a lull in the rain across much of the region through the early afternoon until robust thunderstorm development occurs later today. The possibility of a significant severe weather event still exists.
