Another Toys for Tots campaign has ended, and once again Lowcountry, you have stepped up to the plate and hit a home run. The final numbers are in, and this year you donated 42,217 toys to help more than 10,000 lowcountry kids have a great Christmas. We exceeded our goal of 40,000 toys for this year, which now means in the 25 years of the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots program in Charleston, close to one million toys have been collected and distributed right here. From all of us at News2, and the United States Marine Corps, a heartfelt thanks for your generosity again this year. We are looking forward to our 26th year of partnership in the fall and winter of 2012.
