DEADLY OKLAHOMA TORNADO
A large, violent tornado ripped through a southern Oklahoma town late Tuesday evening, killing eight people and injuring dozens of others, authorities said. Severe weather also caused damage and power...The threat of severe weather will spread across the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys today, although the intensity of the storms will likely be less than what was experienced last night on the Plains.
Heavy rain, damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes are possible today across Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. The threat for severe weather diminishes greatly as you head north and east.
The storm system will weaken drastically today with nothing more than a few showers expected as the cold front crosses the Carolinas tonight.
