Temps remain near average, mainly dry through the weekend

Temperatures will remain near the seasonal averages through the weekend as we continue to see a mix of sun and clouds during the day.  High temperatures will be one or two degrees either side of 85 today and tomorrow with slightly warmer temperatures, only by a degree or so, over the weekend.  Overnight lows will be in the middle to upper 60s.  Rain chances through Sunday will remain in the isolated category.

There are some indications that a storm system could form in the Gulf of Mexico and approach the region from the southwest by Monday and Tuesday.  We will continue to monitor trends and increase rain chances slightly both days.  As cloud cover increases, high temperatures will be a touch cooler, with most of us in the lower to middle 80s.  Overnight lows will likely be within a degree or two of 70.
