A very nice fall-like, but windy day is expected across the Lowcountry with temperatures on the cool side. An area of low pressure off the coastline will increase the winds today and bring more in the way of clouds and showers for tomorrow. The weather will drastically improve as we head into the weekend.

Morning clouds will give way to a good amount of sunshine today. It will be a breezy day as we watch an area of low pressure developing off the coast. This disturbance will bring a chance of strong winds and showers late tomorrow through early Friday.

First Day of Fall in the Books…..
As we enjoy the first day of Fall, I thought I would take a look back at the Summer of 2008 here in Charleston.
Monday Forecast Discussion
Cloudy and comfortable conditions are in place across the South Carolina Lowcountry as we start out the work week. There is only a small chance of a shower today, mainly along coastal locations this morning. Sunshine will break out as some drier air works in throughout the day. We are watching the potential for a coastal low to develop, along with a tropical system by the end of the work week.

A Nice Change in the Weather
Cooler temperatures followed a cold front into South Carolina, as we saw Highs some 10 degrees cooler on Wednesday compared to Tuesday.

Stationary Front hanging around on Tuesday helped to spawn a round of showers and thunderstorms which lingered well into the night.

After a day where we were dodging raindrops from time to time, it looks like the next couple of days will be very quiet. We expect that the impact from Hurricane Hanna will be felt later in the week, maybe beginning as early as Thursday afternoon or evening.
