North Charleston, SC – The South Carolina Stingrays announced today that in their continued community efforts President Darren Abbott and owner Anita Zucker will be participating in the annual “Principal for a Day” program on Thursday, Dec. 4.

Abbott will be shadowing the principal at Midland Park Elementary School and Zucker will be shadowing at Stall High School.

The “Principal for a Day” program was established five years ago in the Charleston County School District and has since expanded to Berkeley and Dorchester counties.  Its purpose is to enable business executives to experience a day at school from the principal’s perspective and learn first hand about the challenges and strengths involved in leading a public school.
