The Wando Warriors had their ace, Drew Cisco pitching, but couldn’t come away with the win.
Wando lost 4-1 to the Gaffney after the Indians broke a 1-1 tie in the 6th by scoring 3 runs. The go-ahead run was a bases loaded walk by Cisco.
Game two of this best-of-three series is Thursday in Gaffney.
A must win for the warriors.
