British zookeepers craft cozy slippers for sore-footed Gay the elephant
Gay the Elephant is stepping out in style. The 40-year-old pachyderm was suffering from foot abscesses until the staff at her zoo in Devon, England had her fitted her with a pair of red slippers to keep her comfortable.
