Final Surge Paces Gamecocks Past Crimson Tide 68-57

COLUMBIA, S.C. - South Carolina senior C.J. Pace scored 13 of her 18 points in the second half to lead the Gamecocks (10-14, 2-9 SEC) to a 68-
57 win over Alabama in SEC women’s basketball action at Colonial Life Arena Sunday afternoon. The 5,438 fans saw South Carolina go on an 18-6
run in the final six minutes to collect is first home league win of the season. Teamwork was the order of the day as the Gamecocks collected a
season-best 20 assists on 24 field goals.

CSU Drops Contest to Flames

LYNCHBURG, VA- The Lady Buccaneers looked to get back in the win column this afternoon in their game against the Lady Flames of Liberty University at the Vines Center, but fell short by a final score of 51-76. The loss moves the Bus to 7-11 on the season and 1-4 in league play, while the Lady Flames continue their undefeated streak in conference play.

Adams’ Buzzer-Beater Delivers 56-55 Win at NC State

RALEIGH, N.C. - In a game that changed leads five times in the final minute, South Carolina’s Demetress Adams struck the final blow at the
buzzer to give the Gamecocks (8-5) a 56-55 win over NC State Sunday afternoon at Reynolds Coliseum. The teams were tied at the half, and the
Wolfpack (8-7) overcame a double-digit South Carolina lead midway through the second half to set up late-game heroics for both teams. For the
second-straight game the Gamecocks’ three seniors led the offense, including C.J. Pace who recorded her first career double-double and delivered
the pin-point pass that helped Adams to the winning bucket.

straight subpar games with 21 points and No. 1 Connecticut opened
11-0 for the third consecutive season with a 77-48 victory over

USC Women’s Hoops Edges Charlotte 78-76

COLUMBIA, S.C. - With season-high shooting, including eight 3-pointers, and a diversified offense, South Carolina women’s basketball scrapped through to a 78-76 win over Charlotte this afternoon at Colonial Life Arena. Sophomore point guard Samone Kennedy had a career day, including 4-of-4 shooting from 3-point range, to lead the Gamecocks (6-4) with 23 points, while senior Demetress Adams battled outstanding post play for the second-straight game to fall just one rebound shy of a double-double with a season-high 19 points and nine rebounds.
