Sunny skies and temperatures in the 70’s are a great way to start out the weekend. There will be an increase in cloud cover on Sunday with a chance of rain moving in very late in the day.

It will be a chilly start to Friday morning but more sunshine is on the way to wrap up the work week. The weekend is looking great with highs in the 70’s.

Officials from the National Weather Service confirms six tornadoes during Friday’s storm; five of those were in the upstate.

The National Weather Service office in Charleston has confirmed that two tornadoes touched down. The strongest was an EF-2 that wiped a church off its foundation.

A cool day is on the way today as highs struggle to reach the middle to upper 50’s. Clear skies and light winds tonight will lead to a cold morning start on Wednesday. Overnight lows will range from the upper 20’s well inland to the middle 30’s along the coast.
