The judge denied bond for Justin Hillerby, the man accused of killing the 2-year-old Summerville boy. 

A Summerville man has bagged a 12-foot alligator in the state’s first gator hunt since the 1960s.

Neighbors say the elderly man lived alone and kep to himself.

Police are investigating a possible drowning in a neighborhood pond in Summerville.  A neighbor found the body of 51 year old Nathaniel Irick in a pond at the back of the Palmetto Park neighborhood Wednesday evening.
