Clemson tuition going up, and 450 jobs are being cut

Clemson University is raising in-state tuition by 4.5 percent and eliminating more than 450 jobs to cover a budget cut of more than $45 million. The university Board of Trustees voted Thursday to raise in-state tuition and fees by about $234 per semester for in-state students.
