CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern Head Men’s Basketball Coach Barclay Radebaugh and his staff announced four members of their 2009 spring recruiting class, Wednesday.

KNOXVILLE, TN- The Buccaneers (12-17, 7-4) traveled to meet the Volunteers (12-16, 1-9) of Tennessee at Lindsey Nelson Stadium on Wednesday night for the first meeting since 1996 between the two programs. The Buccaneers dropped the contest 8-2, while tallying four hits and one homer. Five of the eight Vol runs were earned, while the Vols out-hit the Bucs 11-4.

The Buccaneers complete a three-game homestand and also the season-series with Presbyterian as they host the Blue Hose for a 7:30 PM start at the CSU Field House.

CHARLESTON, S.C - Charleston Southern played in front of a near capacity crow at the CSU Field House Saturday, as they hosted the Garder-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs in Big South action. A slow start for the Bucs could not be overcome in the end, as the Bulldogs held on for an 86-70 win. CSU dropped to 5-13 with a 1-7 mark in the Big South, while Gardner-Webb improved to 9-10 and 5-4 in the conference.

Cleveland, Ohio - The 43 winners of the 11th annual Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association Academic All-Star Team were announced by the Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA), today. There were 79 total nominees.

Charleston Southern University officials say police arrested four of their students in connection with a robbery and kidnapping that locked down the North Charleston campus November 11th.

Charleston Southern University has released a number of things the school is doing to try and increase security.  There have been 2 lockdowns on campus in the last month due to security issues.

A bond court judge denied bond for armed robbery charges against the two men accused of carrying a gun on the campus of Charleston Southern University.

Police have two men in custody after reports of a gunman on the campus of Charleston Southern University.  Campus security and North Charleston police responded to the rear of the campus around 9:00PM last night to reports of a gunman on campus.
