College of Charleston moves into fourth place in Southern Conference with 52-42 victory over Georgia

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Senior forward Sarah Moye (Alpharetta, Ga.) scored 10 points and pulled down seven rebounds as the College of Charleston (12-5, 6-4) defeated Georgia Southern (11-8, 6-4) Monday evening in a Southern Conference women’s basketball game at the Carolina First Arena in Charleston, South Carolina. The victory moves the Cougars into fourth place in the conference.

College of Charleston swimming falls to Davidson despite strong individual performances

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Junior Greg Greer (Clemmons N.C.) and junior Cassie Tubb (Swedesboro, N.J.) each collected a pair of first place finishes and junior Randy Buchanan (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) took second in four events as the College of Charleston Swimming and Diving teams each dropped decisions to Davidson in Davidson, N.C. The men’s team fell 164-123 while the women finished the dual meet at 184-111.

Voter Bus Visits College of Charleston

A voter educational bus made a pit-stop by the College of Charleston campus earlier today. Project Vote Smart provides a “voter self-defense system”. The non-partisan political education group provides information on over 40,000 candidates nationwide.
