Killer on the loose as Cherokee County, SC sees fourth murder in six days

Investigators don’t know if the most recent killing is related to three other fatal shootings within 10 miles of each other in the past six days.  Authorities say the other three murders are connected.

2 women found dead near where farmer was killed last week

Officials are investigating the shooting deaths of two women not far from where a prominent South Carolina peach farmer was killed last week. Multiple media outlets reported the women were found Wednesday at a Cherokee County home.

SC State cancels “The Lowcountry Classic” for this year, as SLED investigates the event

South Carolina State will not be hosting the Low Country Classis in Charleston this year.  This comes while the State Law Enforcement Division is investigating the event.
