Two Lowcountry used car dealers have been sentenced to 40 months in federal prison after they pleaded guilty to bank fraud.

A South Carolina man who prosecutors say was getting rid of the gun he used to kill his wife as he told 911 operators he had come home and found her dead has been sentenced to life in prison.
