Police: Philadelphia area woman offered up sex for seats at World Series
People will do all sorts of things to see the World Series, including hooking—at least that was the case for one Philadelphia area woman. Susan Finkelstein allegedly offered sex for World Series tickets on Craigslist, said the cops who busted her gig.

It’s the RiverDogs’ second home rainout of the season, and the last chance for the Charleston Riverdogs and Delmarva Shorebirds to meet. Thursday’s game cancelled because of heavy rain.

Charleston Southern University Baseball: Game Postponed, Doubleheader Schedued for Sunday
CHARLESTON, SC- The Buccaneers and Keydets announced that today’s game scheduled for 12 noon at Buccaneer Ballpark has been cancelled due to continuing rain. They will play a double header tomorrow starting at 1:00 p.m.
CofC Beats Furman in DH Opener, 18-4; Paladins Win Nightcap
Mt. Pleasant, S.C.—The College of Charleston belted a school-record eight homers, including three by Cole Rakar (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) in a 18-4 win over Furman in the opener of a Southern Conference doubleheader before 233 at Patriots Point Stadium on Saturday. Brian Harrison’s three-run homer in the eighth lifted Furman to a 10-9 win in the second game.

LSU strikes back as Gamecocks fall 10-3 in game two of series

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C.- After taking a victory by ten runs yesterday over the Runnin’ Bulldogs, the Bucs dropped Saturday’s game in Boiling Springs by 11 runs. The Bulldogs took the win by a final of 15-4. The loss moves the Bucs to 9-11 on the season and 3-4 in Big South play, while the Bulldogs advance to 12-7, and 4-1 in conference play.

College of Charleston Edges Xavier, 3-2

Pleasant, S.C.—Joash Brodin (Olympia, Wash.) drove in the game-winning run with a ninth inning double and freshman lefty Aaron Bouronich (Summerville, S.C.) picked up the win tossing seven strong innings in relief in his collegiate debut leading the College of Charleston to a come-from-behind 3-2 win over Xavier in college baseball action before 343 at Patriots Point Stadium on Wednesday.

Sonny Meade’s Walk-Off Double Gives The Citadel 5-4 Win in 12 Innings Over Indiana State
Charleston, S.C. – Sonny Meade hit a two-out double off the left field wall to score Nick Orvin from first as The Citadel clinched its first win of the season in dramatic fashion with a 5-4 victory in 12 innings. The Bulldog victory prevented a series sweep at the hands of Indiana State in front of 427 at Riley Park Sunday afternoon.
