Mike Lacett joined WCBD in October 2007 as a weekend sports anchor and reporter.

Mike comes to the Lowcountry after spending two years as a sports anchor and reporter for KESQ in Palm Springs California. While in the desert, Mike also announced the high school game of the week on the local Time Warner Cable Affiliate.

Mike began his broadcasting career at 14 working for his high school radio station, WWPH 107.9 FM. In college, Mike landed his first job in the business as the drive time sports anchor and reporter for WHEN Sportsradio 620, Syracuse NY.

A native of Princeton Jct, New Jersey, Mike is a graduate of Syracuse University.

In his free time he enjoys working out, watching movies, and touring some of Charleston's historical landmarks.

He currently lives in Mount Pleasant.
