Larry has gathered news from New York City to New Orleans, but is glad to now call the Lowcountry home.

A Louisiana native, his love of news brought him to the newsrooms of MTV News in New York City, KALB-TV in Alexandria, Louisiana, and WGNO-TV in New Orleans.

He has 7 Associated Press Awards including Story of the Year, an Edward R Murrow Award, a D. Tennant Bryan Award for best general news reporting and an Emmy Award Nomination for coverage of the Charleston Nine.

Larry's personal view of reporting: "Every story has several layers. At the core of those layers is a person. That person is the true heart of any story."
