Miss Venezuala wins Miss Universe title

Miss Venezuela was crowned this year’s Miss Universe in the Bahamas Sunday night.

In a broadcast seen around the world Stefania Fernandez, who’s 18-years-old, became the 58th winner of the crown.

She’s the sixth winner from Venezuela.

It’s the second consecutive year that a contestant from Venezuela won the Miss Universe title.

The first runner up was Miss Dominican Republic.  Miss USA placed in the top ten.
