ROME - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has praised the courage of Iranian protesters and called Tehran the greatest threat to peace.
Netanyahu said the courage of the protesters “in facing bullets in the streets” deserved the praise of everyone around the world.
Netanyahu spoke Tuesday at a joint news conference with Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi on his first European trip since taking office.
Berlusconi said both leaders agreed that Iran shouldn’t be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.
