State GOP to launch campaign office

The South Carolina Republican Party is launching its campaign office operation for federal and state candidates.
   
U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham and state GOP chairman Katon Dawson plan to open the party’s Victory ‘08 office in West Columbia on Monday.
   
The office will handle campaign efforts for U.S. Sen. John McCain’s presidential bid as well as those of other state and federal candidates.
   
Democrats opened their “Campaign for Change” operation in July at the party’s Columbia headquarters.
