The Seneca city administrator has suspended two city employees he says sent an e-mail from their work accounts with a racist version of “The Night Before Christmas.“
City Administrator Greg Dietterick tells WYFF-TV in Greenville that the employees were suspended without pay this week and will face further punishment when the mayor returns from an out-of-town
trip.
The e-mail includes crude language as it tells about a black Santa Claus who burglarizes homes.
Dietterick says the employees worked for the Recreation Department. He would not release the their names or give other details.
