State unemployment numbers due out today

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina’s latest unemployment figures - second highest in the nation - are due for release.
The Employment Security commission says unemployment numbers for March will be released Friday morning.
The state’s unemployment rate increased to 11 percent in February, up from the revised 10.3 percent rate for January.
Among the state’s counties, Allendale County had the highest unemployment rate at 23.4 percent in February. Lexington County had
the lowest rate at 7.9 percent.
