Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Deputies have released new information Wednesday morning in a shooting that killed a hunter.
Investigators said it appears to have been an accident.
The victim was found dead in some woods off 207 Coggins Road in the Reidville Community on Tuesday night. The county coroner’s office is trying to identify the man, but sheriff’s deputies said
Wednesday morning that the victim may have shot himself accidently.
The coroner’s office has an autopsy planned for Wednesday.
