Anderson Baby Death

Anderson County deputy coroner Don McCown says at this point they believe the death was caused by inhaling pesticides.
He says the mom set off several of the foggers you can pick up at the store- one after another over the period of a few weeks.
The coroner says she said she would set the fogger and leave with the children for the required amount of time (which is about 4 hours), then let the place air-out, so he says they were used properly according to the directions.
He says at this point they believe it was an accumulated toxin from repeated use of the pesticide. He say the final cause of death is still pending toxicology reports, which will take about 8 weeks.
McCown says the other child and the mother also showed the same symptoms.
He said the pesticide fumes in the house were extremely strong and the were coming off the mother’s skin and clothes so much that during the interview at AnMed they had to ask her to take off her clothes and take a shower.
