Authorities say the shooting death of a man inside a Gaffney furniture and appliance store is the fourth killing in Cherokee County in the past six days.

Multiple media outlets report that a man was killed and a woman wounded Thursday evening at Tyler Home Center.

Investigators don’t know if the most recent killing is related to three other fatal shootings within 10 miles of each other in the past six days.

Sheriff Bill Blanton said 83-year-old Hazel Keaton Linder and her 50-year-old daughter, Gena Linder Parker, were bound and killed Wednesday by the same person who shot 63-year-old Kline Cash last
Saturday.

Investigators have a sketch of the suspect and think he is driving a blue van.

The county of 54,000 people had six homicides in 2008.
